The Nick Kuhl and the Gang (NKG) band formed in 2013 with one mission; to provide an unforgettable live entertainment experience in support of those celebrating life's special moments with the people they love.
NKG are a true family band who believe in taking absolute care of clients like they are a part of their own family. No matter where the party engagement is located, or what has to get accomplished to achieve ultimate party success, the entire NKG team has your back each step of the way from beginning to end.

Lead Vocals | Keyboard
Nick Kuhl
Nick Kuhl has been a world-wide professional singer and music performer for over 20 years. He studied Musical Theatre at The University of Michigan and competed in singing competitions both nationally and internationally. Nick has been a featured soloist with the Michigan Pops Orchestra, The Rochester Symphony Orchestra, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Nick is a founding member of NKG and enjoys taking personal care of each client's special engagement needs.
Lead Vocals
Renee Turner
A Detroit Music Award winner, Renee Turner has performed with such artists as Judy Collins, Michael Bolton, Mitch Albom, Eminem and Foreigner. Renee earned a degree in musical theatre from Oakland University and has been featured numerous times on the Meadow Brook Theater stage, as well as other regional theatres and music festivals across the country. Her golden voice has also been featured on commercial voice-overs and timeless jingles.

Tony Nouhan
Tony Nouhan is a multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist whose performed from coast-to-coast including nationwide US tours and European festivals for over 20 years. Tony has performed with blues legend Gino Matteo, as well as Bad Dudes, DOEGOE, Check in the Dark, and Uprooted. Tony loves bringing the soul to every song he performs and is proud to represent the heart and soul of Motown...the legendary birthplace of a genre that shaped modern music as we know it!

Ann Marie Legato
Anne Marie Legato has been singing professionally for over 10 years bringing breath-taking vocals to NKG performances. She graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Musical Theatre and has been involved in numerous musical projects including nationally broadcasted performances with Mitch Albom, Michael Bolton, and Foreigner. When we say "family Band" we mean it...Tony and Ann are siblings, with Nick as a brother in-law via their sister Janett.
Bass
Chris Emmerson
Chris Emmerson grew up in southwest Detroit and spent his days huddled over a cassette player learning how to play music and write songs. As a life-long musician (starting his first band in 4th grade!). In his teenage years, Emmerson cut his professional performance chops alongside his father. As a multi-instrumentalist, Chris lays down the bass for NKG as well as managing technical staging execution. Chris has also branched out into the production side of the music business, establishing his own studio where he currently records native Detroit artists.

Dan Ianitelli
Dan Ianitelli is a diverse Drummer who has played an array of musical contexts; from hardcore and prog, to rock, pop, jazz-fusion, funk, and soul. Along with his chameleon-like approach to mastering rhythm, he is known for his individual sound, musicality, and animated performances. Guitar
Josh Lackowski
As a life-long musician and professional entertainer for 20+ years, Josh has performed as a lead guitarist with acts such as The Square Pegz, X-Generation, The Mega 80's, Big Daddy and the La Dee Das, and as a founding member with NKG. When Josh is off stage, he enjoys making art, recording music, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He is known for his musical diversity and soulful style fueled by his positive personality. His favorite thing to do in life is to help make people smile, especially while on a dance floor.
Tech Director
John Lackowski
John Lackowski has been a professional musician for over 30 years in the metro Detroit area with his legendary father’s Polka band, Big Daddy Lackowski and the La Dee Das. He has also been a sound engineer for all those years. He has been mixing audio for theatre productions, indoor live band events, outdoor festivals, and churches. John loves to use his experience as a musician and audio engineer to make your occasion sound superb.

The Woodward Horns are featured with NKG as a 3-piece horn section representing pure Detroit, Michigan. Performing nationally and around the region, this world-class trio delivers the highest level of professional musicianship for those who want the ultimate music presentation.
